Tuan Haji Othman Bin Haji Ismail

Tuan uan Haji Othman Haji Ismail has been a Safety
Practitioner for more then 20 years whereby majority is
in RISK MANAGEMENT. He has served for an
international consulting firm operating in the Asia
Pacific region.
In the past 15 years he has been involve in the training & consulting of Occupational Safety & Health, and have
conducted more then 500 in-house & public programs for over 15,000
participants.
He is the founder of the OSH Academy in 1992 and since then have been
appointed the training consultant for Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN)
OHSAS 18001, National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH),
Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers Institute of Manufacturing (FMM-IM),
Malaysia Hotel Association and numerous multinational company, government
agencies, small & medium industries (SMI). On the international scene he was
seconded to the Pietersburg International Airport, Northern Province, Republic of
South Africa as the Risk Management Director involve in the new international
airport development.
He is the MASTER TRAINER of all OSHA Modules ranging from OSH
Management programs to OSH Operational modules such as Fork Lift Safety,
Emergency Response to Confine Space Entry. Current projects involve the
development of OSH Management Systems for MNC Companies in
manufacturing & civil construction in Malaysia.
He is an accredited trainer for the National Certificate for Safety & Health Officer
Program as well as a Certified Maritime Auditor for the ISM Code and a licensed
Marine Surveyor with the Malaysian Marine Department.
Under OSHA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, he is actively
involved in providing numerous services ranging from “Think Tank” activities to
research and development for non profit organization.

Ahmad Fauzi Abdul Samad

Ahmad Fauzi holds a Master in Management from
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti
Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
He started his career as a Refractory Engineer in 1996
with Antara Steel Mills Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Lion
Group), a steel making company located in Pasir Gudang, Johor, whereby his
works were mainly involved with refractory management which was part of the
production units.
During his years of service in Antara Steel Mills, he was also involved in
overseeing the overall production operations mainly on planning, supervising,
monitoring and controlling of the whole production process.
He had some experience in quality audit management especially with regards to
overseas visits to several countries for bench marking purposes such as
Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Austria, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Philippines and
People Republic of China of which he would study on feasibility to implement the
viable systems at the work place.
Over the years he had been successfully promoted to several higher positions in
the company among others as the Senior Production Superintendent and up to
the Production Manager.
As a member of the management in the Safety and Health Committee of the
company, he has wide experience especially in term of OSH management
system.
He had also attended several competency courses among others a Radiation
Protection Officer course in Malaysian Nuclear Agency whereby he is currently
applying for RPO certification with Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB). He is
also a qualified Responsible Person for Gas under the Energy Commission. He
also had been selected by Pusat Tenaga Malaysia (PTM) to represent Malaysia
during the Energy Conservation Seminar in Tokyo, Japan from 10 July until 20
July 2007.
Currently, he is working towards getting certification as a Safety and Health
Officer (SHO) later to be registered with Department of Occupational Safety and
Health (DOSH).

Norazlinah Abdul Rahman

She holds a B. Eng (Hons) in Chemical &
Process Engineering from National University
of Malaysia (UKM).
She is a qualified Safety & Health Officer
(SHO) and has more than 11 years
experience in that field since her days
involved with the Marine and Oil & Gas
industries.
Since serving Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), a
heavy, multi-disciplines engineering company with an average of
6,000-workforce organization, she has extensively involved in safety
training which includes developing and conducting in house safety
training for MMHE staff as well as the subcontractors’ workforce.
As for public program with collaboration with National Institute of
Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), she is focusing on Safety
and Health Officer (SHO) and Safety Passport programs and
currently she is one of the MASTER TRAINER of NIOSH – OSFAM
Safety Passport (NOSP) Program.
